Radio Interview with Judith Roberts and Paul Williams about Hope Manor. (22 mins)
Check out the link below for the story of how Hope Manor was started and also a little of Judith’s personal story. Hope Manor was the topic of Take12 Radio’s featureFriday interview on March 27 2015, on their feature interview.
Hope Manor was started in 2014, when Judith R., a recovering alcoholic, was inspired to create a home for alcoholics who desperately needed a safe, stable and alcohol and drug free environment to recover from a life threatening addiction and to cross the bridge to sobriety and health. Hope Manor offers sober living homes for women who are struggling with alcohol and/or drug addiction.
People trying to turn their lives around after they have fallen on hard times because of alcoholism face what’s often a dispiriting challenge. Typically, those people will not succeed. When they do, it’s something special.
The momentum of Hope Manor has been so great to see. The media support has been so great. We’re seeing many sectors of our community really caring for Hope Manor’s mission and woman but helping get the word out. Here’s one of the recent radio spots that you can download and hear.
